Pattern Debut: Javier Pullover

I'm very excited to present my final pattern release for 2014: the Javier Pullover!

I collaborated with Juniper Moon Farm on this project, and the design is part of their Azores Collection, which also features designs from Lara Neel (author of the brilliant Sock Architecture, which everyone should buy immediately), Cassie Castillo, and Brenda Castiel.

As you can see, this is a reinterpretation of my popular Javi baby/toddler pullover, designed for women. It's knit in Tenzing, a delightfully soft sportweight yarn that's 85% merino wool and 15% yak--yes, yak! It was an absolute dream to work with--soft but sturdy, beautiful drape, everything you want from your yarn.

This pullover (Hey! Technically this is my FOURTH pullover for Year of the Pullover!) is knit from the top down, and features a wide boat neck, 3/4 length sleeves and a button placket along one raglan edge, which can be worn to the front or back. It also features the gradient colorblock patterning of the Javi pullover, but could also be knit in a single color, if you so choose.

You can purchase the pattern through Ravelry for $6.
